Kingdom Culture is the conviction that the reign of Christ orders every realm — sanctuary and statehouse, chapel and civic square. Civic theology is its public grammar: the disciplined translation of Kingdom witness into the languages of memory, law, economy, and neighborhood.
Five Convictions
- Christ is Lord of the public realm. The gospel does not retreat to the private sphere.
- The church is a fellowship, not a faction. Civic witness is corporate, sacramental, and humble.
- Memory disciplines politics. Without sacred memory, civic action drifts into spectacle.
- Dignity is non-negotiable. Every policy is read against the imago Dei.
- Reconstruction is the goal. Critique is necessary; rebuilding is the mandate.
An Ecumenical Convocation
ASMA convenes pastors, scholars, ministers, theologians, archivists, civic leaders, and public witnesses across Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Anglican, Episcopal, Reformed, Holiness, AME, CME, Church of God in Christ, Full Gospel, Evangelical, Charismatic, Interdenominational, and broader ecumenical traditions. Black theological witness remains a foundational stream — the river that gathers every tributary into a single anti-slavery confession.
